Hospitality & Catering Assessor / Trainer: About the role
- Carry out group delivery and workplace assessments for apprentices working towards the Hospitality and Catering standards at level 2 – 4
- Carrying out reviews and creating action plans for apprentices, including SMART Targets and the delivery of Functional Skills if required
- Ensure that all learners are well engaged and progressing through their apprenticeships successfully.
- Use excellent communication, and IT skills to liaise effectively with learners and colleagues
- Keep updated with curriculum initiatives, development of standards and general developmental and professional issues relating to the delivery of learning in your area.
- Inspire and enthuse students about Hospitality & Catering industry, passing on your skills and knowledge within the industry and helping them to achieve their full potential.
- Provide constructive feedback that clearly indicates strategies for improvement and progress
Hospitality & Catering Assessor / Trainer: About You
- Relevant Level 3 qualification in Hospitality & Catering
- Extensive experience working within the industry.
- Knowledge of the new standards and EPA processes would be an advantage
- Maths & English Level 2
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and motivation skills
- Hold an assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, CAVA, D32/D33)
- Teaching qualification is advantageous
