Business Analyst  Trainee Trainer – remote- up to £40,000 DOE

Would you like to use your skills and knowledge to train the next generation of Business Analysts and Project Managers?

We are looking for a Data / Business Analyst with a strong background in project management.  To apply you must possess relevant IT qualifications and project management qualifications.  Qualifications may be gained as an apprenticeship or college course but must be to level 4 or above or as part of a degree course and don’t have to be a stand alone subject. 

Similarly, you must possess practical work experience within Data / Business Analysis and Project Management.  You will be recruited as a subject matter expert.  Someone who has gained the qualifications and has worked within these environments. 

You will be using your knowledge within Business Analysis and Project Management to provide real life scenarios to your learners.  Your experience within these subjects will also give you credibility with your learners and the companies for whom they work.

Whilst train the trainer support will be given, you must know your subject well. Hence why qualifications and real life experience is absolutely essential. If you wish to apply, your CV or cover letter must reflect this. 

The Role

  • This is a full time, permanent role.
  • You would be working from home.
  • Initially whilst you are training you will be allocated a small caseload of learners.  They will be studying for level 3 and 4 qualifications in Business Analysis and Project Management. 
  • You will be taught how to deliver and support learners through the apprenticeship programme.
  • You will have the opportunity to study for professional training qualifications. 
  • Your role would be to support them with their studies, putting together their portfolios via the telephone, email and MS Teams. You would be using your knowledge to pass on to them.  Taking the theory into the real life using your own practical experience. 
  • Throughout your career as a Tutor you will receive on going training and career development.  An excellent career structure exists.
  • You would manage your own time and diary but interaction with learners will be within core office hours 9.00 a.m. 5.00 p.m.  Therefore, this isn;t a role which can be conducted alongside another role.

To apply you will need:

  • Formal IT qualifications to level 4 or above.
  • Formal Project Management qualifications. This can be gained as a stand alone subject such APM level 4 or as part of a degree. 
  • You must have practical experience of working within Business / Data Analysis and Project Management.  This is essential.
  • A dedicated workspace at home.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills. 
  • The genuine desire to support learners and help them achieve. 
  • You don’t need to be a trainer, nor have any training qualifications, your new employer would put you through an induction programme, support you to gain formal training qualifications.
