Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer: About the role
- Plan, develop and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences to learners aged between14-19.
- You will prepare and organise teaching sessions effectively constantly ensuring that all learners are well engaged and progressing through their course successfully.
- Use excellent classroom management, communication, and IT skills to liaise effectively with learners and colleagues
- Keep updated with curriculum initiatives, development of standards and general developmental and professional issues relating to the delivery of learning in your area.
- Inspire and enthuse students about Carpentry & Joinery, passing on your skills and knowledge within the industry and helping them to achieve their full potential.
- Provide constructive feedback that clearly indicates strategies for improvement and progress against individual targets
Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer: About You
- Relevant Level 3 qualification in Carpentry & Joinery
- Extensive experience working within the industry.
- Maths & English Level 2
- Experience teaching/delivering similar curriculum in an educational setting
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and IT skills.
